A Selective Guide to the V&A's South Asian Collection is a publication that came out of Avani Tanya's joint residency at the V&A and Delfina Foundation in the summer of 2017.

During her three-month residency Avani was provided with a studio at V&A to research the museum's South Asian collection. Her research in to the collection provoked an array of questions. Rather than looking to the museum to answer them she invited other people to share their personal interpretations, responses and connections to objects in the collection, which resulted in this publication.
